Curreykorn to perform at Music Under the Stars

Curreykorn performs at the 2012 season of Music Under the Stars, sponsored by the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum

Thursday, August 23 at 7 p.m. 

The sixth season of Music Under the Stars, the Mark Twain Museum-sponsored free summer concert series, continues Aug. 23 with the bluegrass family band Curreykorn.

Curreykorn hails from Columbia, Mo. and consists of parents David and Nancy Currey and their five children. The group has released two CDs, the latest, “Three Creeks,” in 2009.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. in front of the Boyhood Home. Badger Cheese Haus will sell cheese curds and sausage trays with cookies and Main Street Wine Stoppe will sell drinks. Each week there will be a drawing for one large popcorn, courtesy of B&B Theatres.
