Mark Twain Museum Announces "An Evening with Andy Borowitz" April 3rd, 2012

Join the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum in welcoming Andy Borowitz on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6-9 p.m. Borowitz is a comedian and satirist whose writing, blogging, and tweeting have earned him world-wide acclaim. In a report on CBS News Sunday Morning he was called "one of the funniest people in America." Andy will deliver his irreverent and insightful commentary on the evening of April 3, 2012 at the Mark Twain Museum Gallery. He recently edited The 50 Funniest American Writers for the Library of America Publishers, which includes work by Mark Twain, David Sedaris, Dorothy Parker and other American humorists.
The event begins with a wine and cheese reception (6:15 - 7:00) followed by Andy's talk and a book signing. Tickets are $65 and include a complimentary copy of The 50 Funniest American Writers. Additional copies will be available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop.

Borowitz graduated from Harvard where he was president of the Harvard Lampoon. He has written for TV (The Facts of Life), created The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and co-produced the thrice Oscar-nominated film Pleasantville. Andy is a regular contributor to The New Yorker magazine.
