Mark Twain Museum presents "Lauris Vidal" on Thursday

HANNIBAL, MoCan summer be ending already?  Join us to celebrate in song with our final Music Under the Stars concert series featuring Lauris Vidal, Dan Walters, and Billy Dean.

Jim Reed of CONNECT SAVANNAH had this to say about the Florida-based folk troubadour: "Kitchen sink beat-blues with off-kilter percussion and an affected sense of swampy melodrama (straight from the Franks Wild Years school) from an ultra-indie Fl., solo artist."

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, grab your family and friends, and come say goodbye to summer with us in front of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home.  In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to the Museum Gallery at 120 N. Main Street.  No admission charge; donations to the museum accepted.

The Music Under the Stars program is organized by the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum and made possible by the generous donations of local patrons and businesses. If you would like to donate to the program, please contact Dr. Cindy Lovell at the Museum at 573.221.9010 ext. 402. For more information, please visit the Museum website at www.marktwainmuseum.org.
