Music Under The Stars

The Ironweed Bluegrass Band

Get ready for toe-tappin' fun this Thursday, July 2
at Music Under the Stars!

The swampy tunes of Ironweed Bluegrass Band
comes to Historic Hill Street during National Tom
Sawyer Days.

Bringing a mix of bluegrass, good ol' vintage country
and a little bit of Cajun, this five-piece band is sure
to get your toes tappin'.

Led by the backwoods vocals of Missouri Ozarks and
Arkansas native Jane Accurso, the Ironweed Bluegrass
Band brings a bucket-load of honky-tonk tunes about
trains, moonshine, heartaches, pigs, corn and girls
named Sophronie.

Combined with the the seasoned licks of multi-
champion fiddler Kelly Jones, the comedic style of mandolinist Joe Wieneman, some old-time clawhammer banjo pickin' by Dierik Leionhard and some rowdy, rock-a-billy energy by bass player Matthew Bossaller, this band will have you up twirlin' in the isles.

The Hannibal History Museum will have Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Fruit Cups, Chips and Cookies available and the Main Street Wine Stoppe returns with all your favorite beverages.

So bring your lawn chairs and your friends for another amazing concert with Music Under the Stars!
